Book Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Hey guys!

I have a book review for you guys today! It's Where She Went by Gayle Forman, so here you go!

Okay, so I just literally finished reading this book.

This book is based on a guys point of view, which was different, but in a good way. So, it's about a guy named Adam, he is in a rock band with two other guys and a girl. He's in the spotlight, but he has a lot of problems, like every rock star does. While he's in New York, he realises that he has come face to face with the love of his life that left him more than three years ago, Mia Hall. This book is a great book and is definetly worth the read, a story full of love, passion and pain. I love how it was written, and how it feels in a guys point of view in lost love. I loved this book, and I think people who like these kind of books should certainly give it a try!

Beauty Stuff: Best Drugstore Acne-Clearing products!

Hey guys,

So both of us can suffer from acne every now and then(don't all of us?!). So we put together some of our holy-grail products, wait, it gets even better, they're all from the DRUGSTORE! So if you're suffering from some acne, or feel like something's coming up, these are really easy to get, and are really great products!

Elf Zit Zapper: $1.00
Nisha: Yep, this may only cost a dollar or two, but this is so good for the price! It really isn't one of those cheap products that don't do anything to your skin or break you out even more, this LITERALLY gets rid of those pimples in sometimes less than two hours! Oh my god, this product is so amazing, it works just like a high end product like this would, it's just so, so, so good, and I can't believe it's only a dollar!

Clearasil Vanishing Pimple Clearing Cream: $9.99
Myra: You guys know I have to mention this product, it's my holy grail acne product. It is just so good, that if I don't use it one day, I notice a huge difference of the pimples size. This cream is my baby, I can't go a day without it, even if I haven't washed my face or anything, I will still put it on, It's my can't-live-without product. Definetly recommended for everyone who gets pimples!

Burt's Bees Acne Solutions Spot Treatment: $10.00
Nisha: WOW! This is my favorite spot treatment ever! I had never really drawn towards sallicytic acid products, because I thought they were too harsh on my skin, but after trying this baby, it's the only thing I'm ever gonna use for the rest of my life. It gets rid of my pimples in 1, 2, 3. If you like products like these, and would spend a little more on drugstore products, go and get this right now!

Clean and Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Wash: $5.49
Myra: This is my go-to face wash, it gets rid of acne pretty well, and it has a fun consistency of foam, which is always awesome, I mean, come on! I know I was raving about my Clearasil one, but to be honest with you, it's so much easier to wash out and apply, and it glides on your face like an absolute dream! One of my favorite purchases!

So that was it for now,

Random Post: Pros and cons of waxing and shaving.

Okay, guys.

Today I have something really awkward and kind of a crazy thing to talk about, to you guys. But in real life, this is a decision to made: should I wax or should I shave? Really, around the tween ages or older than that, people start thinking, which one should I pick, because what you pick, will pretty much last you your entire lifetime(okay, not really, but). It is a very hard decision, so here are the pros and cons of both sides of the circle.

Shaving:
Pros:
-Keeps legs smooth.
-Lasts an alright time, 2 days maybe, until you next need to shave.
-Some shaving creams have a moisturiser in the cream, so your legs are left smooth once done.
-The process isn't painful.

Cons:
-Makes your hair grow back thicker and darker.
-You have to do it too often.
-It can sometimes take up too much time.
-It only cuts off at the base and not the entire hair.

Waxing:
Pros:
-Makes your hair grow back as it was before.
-Sometimes it can make your hair thinner, so when it grows back, it won't be as visible.
-The wax moisturises your skin, so you have smooth skin after process.
-The process doesn't take long.
-The hair doesn't grow back fully for another 3 or 4 weeks.
-It rips right from the base of the hair.

Cons:
-The process can be painful, it depends on your pain tolerance level(especially the first time).
- Skin can be left looking red or bumpy if your skin is sensitive(but that goes away within a few hours).
-You can get ingrown hairs easily after the hair grows again.

So there you are!
Love,
Myra xx <3

NeishYaRaEha: What's going on?

Hey Everyone!

Wanna know what's happening around everyone at the NeishYaRaEha Studios? Currently we are taking a  break from the early morning shooting of NeishYaRaEha 3(We only have a couple more scenes to shoot anyways) and going on our normal and laidback schedule while shooting NeishYaRaEha Season 5, we aren't sure when it'll be coming out on TV just yet, but give it time and you'll find out soon enough.

Myra and Priya's birthday's just passed this month and we all celebrated at the studios with the cast and then me, Neha, some of Myra's friends and some of Priya's friends flew down to Australia and had so much fun going out for dinner and clubbing for the 10 days we could spend there. Priya and Myra had so much fun and so did I! It was really amazing to just be with everyone hanging out and partying.

We have put out a teaser of one of our songs from NeishYaRaEha 3, "Dhunki", Dhunki is a fun, happy and carefree rock track, with just an instrumental beat with all the sisters from the cast having fun.

Seeya soon

Beauty Review: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush

Hey Guys!

So today I'm going to be doing a review of a product that I feel like gets overlooked alot.

This product is the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush. Now, I love cream blushes alot, I love the consistency, considering the fact that my skin is oily. But I had never heard the term "mousse" blush, I though the product sounded crap and would just be a waste of money. Because I had tried the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush and it was terrible, so NOT pigmented and had absolutely no color, it basically just looked like an ugly type of shimmer has just been spread across your face. So I thought Maybelline blushes were no good. But one day, I was walking around the drugstore and decided to see what this product was really all about. I decided to pick one up because, I had to admit it, it really looked like a cool product. So, when I tried this, I did like it, it has great pigmentation, a nice selection of colors and it looks like a highlighter and blush, both on your face. But, yes there is a but, when you put a little too much of it on your face, it causes a very shimmery look on your face, and it's a cute look, it's not very noticeable, but you can see it. So just keep in mind, if you don't like shimmery blushes, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! But if you don't mind them, like me, then you'll probably like this product!

Thanks for reading this post
Love
Myra xx

P.S: I got it in the shade Pink Frosting.

Pandemonium(Delirium, #2) and Requiem(Delirium, #3) Review

Hey Guys!

Today I have a review on the two last books in the Delirium trilogy. Sometime last month, I did a review on Delirium and said that I absolutely loved it and how amazing it was, so here are my reviews on the other two books.

(Copied from GoodReads)

Pandemonium(Delirium, #2)

Okay, so this book was pretty good. It's basically about Lena being reborn into this new and braver character, with her adjusting in the wilds and getting stronger each day, then she meets this boy, named Julian, and is locked up with him in a prison-type place for a long time, with only limited food and having to pee in a bucket. Honestly, when she meets Julian, I immediately think, she's gonna fall for him, and honestly, I didn't like that idea, her love with Alex was too strong, but as the book went on, I started to take more interest in Julian, and I started to like him, almost as much as Alex, which is crazy. But what sparked me the most was the ending, I'm not going to give any spoilers, but the book ended on such a cliffhanger that I felt like I had to read the third book immediately! So I did like the story, but I just felt like there could have been more in it, I LOVED Delrium, so I felt like this book was not exactly a let-down, but I think that it could have been better, story wise.

Requiem(Delirium, #3)

This book is really good book, I did really like it. So this is after the end of Pandemonium, when Alex has arrived. He's joined with the rest of the people from the wilds. He seems really cold and mad at Lena, which he should be, he's come to see her and she's moved on with another guy. But the way he feels about Lena just seems so different in this book. In this book, regulators are everywhere, no one in the wilds is safe, anybody could be caught and thrown into the Crypts. To be honest, what annoyed me about this book so much was the resistance, all they talk about in this book is the resistance, it just got so boring at times, I was honestly hoping for more romance in this book, considering there were not one, but two guys in this book. Also I didn't like that if Alex was rude to Lena, she would go run off into Julian's arms. Also, the ending, was what I had wanted it to be, so I was pretty happy by the end of this book. I did have some doubts, but I did like it more than Pandemonium.

September NEWS!

Hey Guys!

Happy September! It's great to be talking to you guys again after a bit. Okay, so this year is zooming by like anything, it's already September! We can't believe that Christmas is in less than 4 months! Now, enough about our excitement, lets get into the news.

So, this month is not as busy as some months but is still busy, we are still on the shoot of our 3rd movie of NeishYaRaEha, and it's really fun, honestly we're not too sure about when this movie will be releasing, but we are positive it will be around late January, or early February next year! And surely you would have heard about the delay of the release of our short film NeishYaRaEha: Trip To Bollywood! It was supposed to be released in late July, but it was postphoned to around the middle of August, and that was due to editing difficulties, in case you were wondering.

The awesome thing is, that Myra and Priya's birthdays are this month! Myra's birthday is on the 12th and Priya's is on the 19th! Pretty awesome aye? We're all excited about celebrating their birthdays, all of us, together!

So that was our schedule for the month,

Book Review: Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Hey guys!

So today, I'm going to be doing a review on a book that I had read quiet a while ago, it's Delirium by Lauren Oliver!

So, basically this book is about a girl named Lena, and she lives in a dystopian society, where they think that love is a disease, so all the symptoms of falling in love or anything like that is considered of you having this disease. The disease is called deliria. So basically you can't love anyone, a person of the opposite sex, your parents, your family, your friends, anyone. So when you turn 18, there is a surgery to cure you from love and that you can't feel any kind of love. It's a very different story to what I have ever read. They also have these rebels that are against the disease, they think that love should be allowed and should be encouraged in the world and they live out of the actual city, which they call the Wilds. So Lena is a normal girl, living her life, until a boy comes in  to her life, Alex, and eventually after a while, she falls in love with him.

This book is very addictive and is such an amazing book, that you can't put it down, and usually for me, it's quite easy to put a book down, but not for this. The concept and everything was so interesting that I wanted more! So I definetly recommend this book, if you love dystopian type of book, then you need to go get this book right now!

And I am currently 40 pages into the sequel, Pandemonium.

Love from,
Myra <3

CVS Drugstore Haul: Travel Items and Beauty Items!

Hey guys!

So today I'm doing a mini CVS haul, I stopped in there earlier yesterday, and I though before I leave for Australia, I should post a quick post, so here's the things I bought.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes:
These are my absolute favourite wipes from the drugstore, I find they don't sting my skin or make it red and scratchy like some other brands do, obviously it works well at taking off my makeup, especially eye makeup.

Sunsilk Addictive Brilliant Shine Shampoo and Conditioner Travel Duo:
I found these while I was walking around the travel aisle and I grabbed them immediately, like seriously. Sunsilk is one of my favourite hair brands, and I love that they are in a little pack.

L'Oreal Matte Morphose Souffle Foundation
Of course, I had to pick up a couple of beauty items to try out, so this was one of them, this states that it controls shine for 12 hrs and its a "matte" finish, so that really got me excited, because I have pretty oily skin, please note I have tried this foundation, and that's why it looks used, and I do really like it, you don't even need a powder to set it!

Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream

I have also tried this lip butter, its really moisturising and can we just talk about the scent? It it AMAZING! It smells just like a Cadbury caramel chocolate, just so good!

Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara in Waterproof
Guys, I finally got it! I've been thinking about it for so long, and I finally decided, that I need this! I tried it and I really love it! It volumises and even lengthens amazingly, I think I may even love this more than my holy grail mascara, Innoxa Lash Define, but we'll see, and it doesn't come off until you take it off with a makeup remover!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Anti-Oxidant Berry and Cherry Velvet(Australian Version)
I was really thinking about putting these in this haul, considering I didn't buy them from CVS, but I did! I got this off Ebay for a really good price, and I like the fact that they aren't tinted like ours and you can have a variety of scents.

Here are all of the products altogether:

I hope you enjoyed this haul,
Love
Myra <3

Travelling to Oz: What mini bags am I taking+Travel-sized products

Hello!

I have chosen the mini(cosmetic-type) bags that I will be taking to Australia when we fly off(24th June) and go up to the Sunshine Coast(Noosa). These bags are honestly the smallest cosmetic-type bags I can take, and trust me, when I go through all of them later on, they will be filled right up to the top, no doubt.

So here they are:
This one's from Revlon, it was from one of their collections and they had gifted it to me, I think I have shown this cosmetic bag to you guys, before. This will be my makeup bag, because I feel that it holds makeup amazingly, and I don't overpack with this bag.
I got this bag when I travelled with Qantas when flying to Australia, last time, I will probably use this as my jewellery bag, it's small, but I tend not to carry as much jewellery on vacation as much as I do with other things, such as, makeup or clothing.
This is my newest bag, it's from a brand named Artistry, I got it when I was shopping once and I just liked the way it looked so clean, because it's a clear, plasticy material. I'm thinking about putting my smaller and travel-size skincare and hair products inside here.

My very last bag is from Schwarzkopf Haircare, I absolutley love the color of this, it's kind of a teal, turquoise color and I really like it. I'm probably going to put my full-size skincare and haircare products inside this one.

Here is some of my travel sized goodies that I'm taking with me, that I have bought so far, I will probably buy some more, like more needed things.
1: Colgate Strong Strong Teeth Toothpaste- Travel Size100g | 2: Singapore Airlines Travel Toothbrush(with cover) | 3: Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash - Travel Size 50ml | 4: Soap and Glory Hand Food - Travel Size 50ml | 5: Travalo Refillable Travel Perfume Atomiser Duo | 6: Travel Size Nail File

What to buy the older people in your life: My options and what I'm getting my grandma!

08/06/13

Hey Everyone!

Today I'm going to be posting about a topic, I don't regularly talk about on this blog! Basically my grandma's 70th birthday is coming(which is crazy even to me!), and I have some ideas on what to buy them, so here's a tip to help you guys with struggles to buy things!

-Okay, basically, you ask your grandparents or parents "What do you want for your birthday?" and they obviously reply "Nothing, I don't need anything" or something like that, basically that gives you the obvious sign that you are going to have to get them the best gift in the world or they're not going to buy it, think again. One thing I know about older people, is that they appreciate any little thing you give them, whether its as small as a pen or as big as a plasma T.V!

So, here's what I'm going to be getting my grandma, for now, I have a couple more things in mind, though.

These are a couple of shots that I took of the interior and style.

It's a jewellery box that I got from somewhere that I can't remember, but I got it on clearance for an AMAZING price, and I figured it would be perfect for her on her next birthday.
